Please click on the link above which takes you to the White Rose Maths Website.

**UPDATE: The White Rose website is slightly different from now on - it no longer contains the worksheets and answer sheets but you can still access the videos. Don’t worry we still have access to the worksheets and answer sheets -  I have saved them below as pdfs.**

This week, click on the 'Summer Term - Week 5' link - the lessons focus on revisiting multiplication and division with a challenge lesson on Friday. There are 5 lessons in total, but you can begin to attempt 3 of your choice or have a go at all 5 over the course of the week if you like.

First of all, look at lesson 1 'Multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1000.' Watch the 8 minute teaching video. Then click on the worksheets below and give it a go in your Home Learning Book. The sheets follow the similar school structure of Fluency, Reasoning and Problem Solving.

Once complete, click on the answer sheet below and mark your work.

The BBC have 5 maths lessons for the week. UPDATE: The lessons are now aligned to the White Rose Maths website above so the timetable of lessons is the same as White Rose. They also follow a similar structure to the White Rose tasks - a video to watch and learn from, then some reading to learn from and then some game-style activities to practise on. The timetable for the week is as follows: 1) Multiply and divide by 10, 100, 1000 2) Multiply decimals by integers 3) Divide decimals by integers 4) Decimals and fractions 5) Challenge of the week.

If you look at the 'other home learning' link on our school website on the Year 6 page for this week, you will see the timetable that the BBC have set up for other subjects for the week.

Another website that has been set-up by the Government is the National Academy. They will have a series of 5 maths lessons for the week that include: 1) Recognise 3D shapes 2) Recognise nets of 3D shapes 3) Problem solving of 3D shapes 4) Naming parts of circles 5) Problem solving involving circles. The website follows a similar structure as the White Rose learning tasks - it starts with a quiz, followed by a learning video and then an activity so if you feel like trying these then complete them in your Home Learning Book. The website link is here

During the week, a particular favourite mathematician of mine - Gareth Metcalfe - adds a new reasoning and problem solving lesson every morning at around 9am at Feel free to give this a try too. He has included all the previous lessons on the website.

If you have completed all the other tasks and would like to attempt more maths, another website that will be of use is If you scroll down to the Year 6 area there are booklets for children and guidance packs for parents. The packs are supposed to last for 4 weeks at a don't try to complete it all in one go.
