Hello to all of Year 6.
Mrs Miller and Mr Goodlet hope you are all doing well and you are excited about returning for your last ever half term at Mudeford Junior School. All the adults at school are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back, seeing your smiling faces and hearing about all of your lockdown stories.
We have put together a short presentation (which is the pdf document above) that will give you some indication of how things have changed in school. Many things will still be exactly the same, but we have put some measures in place to keep you and all the adults in school safe and this presentation should help you prepare for the changes.
Mr Partridge also sent out a letter on Parentmail last week which detailed most of the changes to your parents - the letter is also in the 'latest news' section on the website. We have been incredibly fortunate with the weather during lockdown and it looks set to continue over the next couple of weeks when we welcome you all back. As we will try to get outside for some lessons in addition to break and lunch times, please remember to wear and bring in extra sun cream, a filled up water bottle, wear PE style clothing including T-shirts that cover the shoulders for the day (you are not required to wear school uniform) and hat. Please do not bring in any equipment such as a pencil case as we will provide everything for you.
We look forward to welcoming some of you back on Monday and the rest of you over the course of the next two weeks.
In the meantime keep safe and enjoy the sunny weather.
Mr Goodlet and Mrs Miller
