Answers to Mr Goodlet's Maths challenge video

Hello Year 6.

I hope you enjoyed my maths challenge video last week seeing if you could find all the triangles that were on my sheet of paper.

Many thanks to all the children who emailed in to with the correct answer.

Yes, the correct answer was...................27 triangles in total on sheet of paper. Look at the picture below which shows you where 24 of those triangles were.

Picture 1

So that is where 24 of the triangles were, but I said the answer was 27. So where were the other 3?

Well.....on the top of the sheet of paper I wrote A â–ºCHALLENGE

The triangle in the title is another triangle so that makes 25. There are also two letter A's in the title and within the A's there is a triangle in each, so that makes 27 triangles in total.
