Whole School Newsletter September 2018
I hope that you have had a good summer holiday and a relaxing break. The teachers are very pleased how the children have settled into the new term. During the summer holidays we anticipated the refurbishment of all of the school toilets. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Lower Junior toilets will not be completed until late September.
Dates for the school year can be found on the calendar in the News section of the school website. These include all Year 3 swimming dates for the year and dates of Highcliffe School’s open evenings and tours for Year 6 parents. Also our parent evening dates for the Autumn Term are published here.
The cost of each meal is £2.50 per day (£12.50 per week). The deadline for placing an order on ParentMail is 12.00 noon on Thursdays when the option to book a meal is withdrawn.
Parents who receive Income Support or Income Based Job Seekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit AND NOT Working Tax Credit AND an assessed annual income not exceeding £16190 are entitled to free school meals. Further details are available from the school or dorsetforyou.com (Schools Section, Free School Meals|). Alternatively a single phone call to Dorset Direct 01305 221000 can provide you with further information.
